Clearer Vision

For almost 12.5 years of the church's existence just this year that the vision has been much clearer to everyone (especially me). I've been asked by my wife time and time again, "what's the vision?" I just answer her "Loving God and Loving People." On the last Ablaze camp entitled, "Resurgence" I've been haunted by her question but then It was a bit specified on the church. Thus I called uo my mentor, Pastor Pie Nola, and asked his advice on how to craft this vital statement. He gave me specifics which led me to think and pray more. Then, I was reminded by a qoute of Rev. David Yonggi Cho: "Vision and dreams are languages of the Holy Spirit." So my wife and I embarked into a deeper journey (with the Lord) in that camp and the result: The Vision sa REBORN.

Come to think of it...The theme of the camp, "Resurgence", bore the idea of being reborn. Now, as I think of it one of the camp's noble purpose was to rebirth the church's vision. Now FJC has a much clearer vision

GOODBYE 2007

As we live and leave the last day of this great year, we're all in a solemn attitude of thankfulness and gratefulness. In all of the turns and bumps, success and glory we can only say, "praise God." May our hearts not stop in hoping for a greater and better Philippines.

Year 2007 is indeed the Year of GREAT EXPANSION for the Faithful Jesus Church...

• The ABLAZE Family Camp wherein a number of families and individuals were spiritually revived.


• The Encounter God Retreat (EGR) wherein 80 individual where spiritually ignited and reborn to be caught by the vision and to be fired up for Leadership Training.


• The School of Leaders (SOL) wherein around 60 individuals are being trained to handle ministries, cells and outreaches.


• The Evangelistic Cell Groups wherein 27 new cells have been planted and continuously monitored.


• The 13th Anniversary wherein the church celebrated God's goodness with around 550 adults and 100 children.


• The Opening of the 3rd Service wherein 30 people have been consistently attending the service and continuously grows


• The Youth Congress wherein the youths and singles celebrated God's goodness with around 600 in attendance.This is the first time they celebrated it in a covered court.


• The Worship Symposium wherein the music team was trained by three top Christian trainors in the areas of Worship Leading, Band and Singing.


• The TORCH Camp wherein the key youth leaders convened in one camp with one goal that is to be unleashed for bigger and greater ministries.
  

In all of this positive reports is our cry: "Soli Deo Gloria" (To God Alone Be the Glory). May you have a greater new year ahead. We hope that we could still continue our partnership. Year 2008 will be a greater year for all of us!!!

Shepherd People - to consolidate people to be stronger in the faith
Uphold Leadership Training - to lead people to leadership training
Send Leaders - to send people to Cell Groups, Ministries and Outreaches

CHURCH as One - we will all fulfill this goal united in Christ
